What do your day-to-day activities involve?
My role is to design, develop and deliver a wide range of activities that are suitable for the age, interests and needs of children, young people and young adults (up to 24yrs). I engage and empower service users by providing volunteering and leadership opportunities, actively recruit young volunteers through various outreach activities and engagement strategies, and coordinate and oversee the day-to-day operations of the service.
What do you enjoy most about your role?
I enjoy interacting with creative young people and developing opportunities for them to express themselves.
What interests and hobbies do you have (inside and outside of work)?
Outside of Powered By CAN I am involved in therapeutic art, delivering mindfulness and wellbeing sessions to organisations and community groups using art and sculpture as a means of expression.
