Powered by CAN is recruiting dynamic and passionate Freelance Creative Practitioners to join our Arts Collective and Talent Pool of Creative Facilitators. We are looking for skilled individuals across a variety of art forms to deliver high-quality programmes, workshops and masterclasses for young people aged 2-21 years in the Black Country.

Our programmes cover a broad spectrum of creative disciplines and are designed to inspire, educate, and engage children and young people through participatory learning and artistic expression. If you are an experienced facilitator in one of the following areas, we would love to hear from you:

  • Media & Digital Content
  • Performing Arts
  • Visual Arts
  • Cultural Skills
  • Creative Enterprise

 

Salary: £25 - £43 per hour

Service Delivery Play Worker

The post holder will be responsible for supporting the delivery of activities for children aged 6 to 12 years (16 with SEND) in Sandwell.

This project will deliver open access after-school and holiday play sessions across Sandwell.

To assist the service delivery officer in providing a caring, secure environment, through individual attention and a series of well planned, resourced and supervised activities on site and outreach venues across Sandwell.

Term: 31st March 2026

Salary: £11.44 to £12.50ph

Creative Producer - Arts & Culture

Powered by CAN are looking for a Creative Producer to programme arts workshops, performances, and projects for young people across the Black Country.

You will work with youth groups, schools, venues, and freelance artists, to produce arts and cultural opportunities across the region, responding to the needs and interests of children, young people and adults (under 35s).

This might look like:

Connecting an artist with a youth group to produce a tailored mural

Linking young people with podcasters, publishers, and digital content creators, to produce their own content

Animating Black Country spaces with performance, art, and culture

Creating out of school and holiday activities/programmes to engage children and young people

Planning projects alongside freelance artists to engage disenfranchised groups of young people

Term: 31st March 2026

Salary: £25,605 per annum
